Definitely!
I hope that first punch lands square on the nose of some stupid boy who said something dumb. Just remember to teach Brighton that that will happen a lot in her life, so tell her to remember not to tuck her thumb under her fingers when she punches or she might break it. The only broken bones should belong to the boy!!
